Georges works in a small-town drugstore. Passionate about music, he writes songs. When Anne-Marie, whom he loves, loses her parents, he leaves with her for Paris, protecting her because she is blind. His friends Paul and Marthe put them up in the vacant apartment of the publisher Recordier. When he returns, he's irritated, but Anne-Marie sings Georges' songs so well that he makes her a radio star....
